what amp(s) do i need to get to power just one Pioneer TS-W3004SPL Premier® 12" SPL Component Subwoofer?

MTX Thunder5601 if in a vented box will do very well and won't hurt your pocket very much. It puts out 600watts. I had that exact same sub with and older mtx thunder amp with put out about 750watts and it slammed hard as hell. If you go with a sealed box you are going to need to give it closer a 1000.

if the sub is going to be used for SPL then something in the area of 3000 watts at 2 ohm. If it going to be used for daily, then 800-1000 watts rms at 2 ohm

its going to be used for spl, so what amp? oh yeah and probably a vented box

If you can find one I would use a D3 on it. That should give you about 3200 or so at 2 ohm. Also you can look into getting a couple orion 1200d's and strap them
