well i got this just a few days ago, these things are the most tempermental cars ive ever driven. Runs perfectly fine then wont even start. Thats all taken care of and its running good and reliable. now to start upgrading and replacing things!

Ive still got some little nit-picky things i need to fix, but alll together its in great shape.

my first few mods will include 3" cat-back with a high flow cat, turbo xs bov, install the turbo xs manual boost controller i have sitting in the glove box, probably some corbeau seats, then engine stuff from there on. fuel pump injectors, etc...

this is the first turbo car ive owned, also the first rwd, and finaly the first car with an LSD

its so worth it. i'll actualy have money to mod this unlike my Si haha.

its nice, next time all of us get together you'll see. my 21st is coming up.

congrats on an O.G. DSM dose of whup ass. those are some fun cars. make sure you keep an eye on those injectors. the tend to leak and are expensive as hell to replace.

$4k is like the highest you'll ever really see these go for, and even then goodluck to the seller ( some are even higher and turn out to be really crappy )

replace the crappy O2 sensor you have on there, have the injectors cleaned, and get the HKS FCD(fuel cut defense) the computer will cut the fuel off once you get into the boost. you may want to replace the fuel pump and filter also, theose cars only have 2 throttle body injectors and if they are working properly the car runs like crap

yeah, however ive got the 88-89 ECu which doesnt have a fuel cut. and once i get my fuel system fixed i'm gong to go wideband/maft

ummm.... yeah.... i put a 3in dp, 16g @ 15psi = 300ft/tq 250hp, on a 3000lb car not to shabby, im planning on stripping it so itll get lighter. im now goin to put a 20g, i should be somewhere round 400ft/lb and 3-350hp and i havent even touched the bottem end, ill have a cam and thats about it.
