97 talon tsi awd w/ engine damage [MANY AFTERMARKET PARTS] *CHEAP*

let me start out by saying what happened...i had a 1997 eagle talon tsi awd, stock. then i modified it(ill put a list later in this thread), pretty heavily...est. 350-400awhp with a dyno tune. i wanted to sell my car so i could get a truck, so i put it for sale(check post history), and about a month later it caught on fire. the motor is burnt, my hood and back bumper need to be replaced, and the upper intercooler piping was damaged. most of my aftermarket parts are fine. the turbo and intercooler are perfectly fine(those are the biggies money wise), and my interior is 100% great condition, even smells good like when i drove it.

anyways, the car is a 1997 Eagle Talon TSI AWD. A/T(probably should swap it to a 5spd if motor is swapped), 86k miles. Clean Carfax history(the fire is the only bad thing that has ever happened to this car, and the title was in no way effected by this. the car sits in my driveway. i had intentions to part it out and sell every part, then the chasis. i have been so busy i have had no time to take any parts off, or try to sell them. so im going to try and sell the car as a whole, and accept my losses.

these total up to somewhere between $5000-7000
as well as every stock parts(no rims), including the turbo. my mods were all put on at 82,719 miles in december 2005(car burnt march 2006).

my price is $2500 as it is sitting, without the rims/tires. my tires on the rims are less than one month old, and cost $470 on there own. i will sell the car with the rims/tires for $2750, but if you want the rims/tires and not the car i will charge $500.

it used to look very clean, and im upset i don't have money to fix it. i would like to sell this car before summer is over. i am in no hurry, but im starting college in the fall, and with my expensive truck payment i can't afford to fix this.

ill give this a week or two, and ill post it on some other forums, then yes probably. the reason i dont really want to part it out is because i dont have time to do it, then put it with trying to sell everything.

nope. the engine wouldnt turn, but i have taken a few parts out since then and it wouldnt stay cranked anyways. i dont know the extent of the damage to the motor, but just by looking at it, im going to guess it needs to be swapped. most of the aftermarket parts are in great shape though.

im not trying to part it out right now, STOP IT! and i was driving down the road, and heard a loud bang, look in my rear view mirror and saw a quick flame(back bumper), so i pulled over and engine was smoking...not heavily, just lightly. i have pictures of it burning too if anyone wants to see that. it was nothing big at all. the only thing i can think of is that there was some type of electrical problem.

damn dude it used to be a nice ride but if u dyno tuned it why dont u know the exact hp and thats a little pricey but if u decide to part it pm me ill get some stuff off of it thanks and good luck with the sale

i never dynod it, and i dont think it's that pricey...the turbo is fine, intercooler is fine...just about every aftermarket part is fine....the interior is perfect. i dont think the price is bad...
