I had my bookbag on my lap and he saw that was why i didnt have my seat belt on and he asked if i was 16!!! And i said yea. He asked for my id and I gave it to him and he's like don't worry you don't get any points on your liscense for this and the ticket is only 15 dollars... and then he said remember to buckle next time...

He finds nothing, so then tells me to step back in and starts talkin to my friend. I over hear that cop telling my friend the real reason he pulled us over was b/c I "LOOKED" suspect.. :rant:
So as soon as we are about to leave I ask the cop why we got pulled over he said b/c I was not wearing a seatbelt... thats some fucked up shit if you ask me....

Talked my way out of all three charges at the courthouse. Worse speeding I have is 106 in a 45 that I got dropped to a warning. Got pulled over by a damn sheriff's VAN. Dude was like SWAT or something. I started bawling and he felt bad for the little 16 year old in the black convertible and told me I better slow down.

The cop who patrolled my HS in the afternoons always worked the route I took to school in the mornings, and he later told me that he requested to stay there, because he knew other cops would have pulled me over every fucking day. But every afternoon on my way to the band room... "Ms. Covi.... you know I clocked you at 77 (or some other speed that was too fucking fast) in a 55 this morning? What was so important?" and I always replied "AP English project!"

Most expensive ticket I ever got was 86 in a 45. Fucking 800 dollar ticket. Lucky I live in the boondocks. In ATL that would have ass raped me and I'd probably still be in debt.

Yup. Cop pulled me over forever ago, I was in a bad mood. I was in my old car so all the badges were shaved. He asked me what kind of car it was (del Sol). I didn't reply. He asked me again. I said I was observing my 5th amendment right to remain silent. He just about yanked me out of the car, cuffed me, and put me in the back of the police car. Asked if I was going to continue observing my right. I said yes. Brought me down to police station, where I knew my friend Connie was acting as the Sheriff (again thank GOD for small towns). Connie took one look at me and started laughing. She asked if I was still in my del Sol. I said yes. She looked at the officer and told him to bring me back to my car and she would deal with me later, as she knew where I lived. (and oh BOY did she deal with me :idb: ).

Couple of weeks ago there was an insurance/seatbelt checkpoint on 129. I pulled up, in a different del Sol, of course, and the same officer is doing the checkpoint. He was like "is this the same car?" and I was like "no.. that one was totalled" and he went around the back and came back up, and was like "good to see you left all the info on the back" and I was like "it'll be gone soon". We kinda had an awkward laugh moment, he gave me my little coupon for zaxby's, and I went on my way (oh yeah.. in Jackson County if you have your seatbelt on and have insurance, they give you a coupon for $5 off Zaxby's :super: )

HAHAH Estimation at 65 and I asked him if he had a radar and he said no and Im like how did you know and he went I was coming up the street and saw your car come by.
