Does anyone know any good muffler shop in the ATL that can do Mendrel bend and good welding for a good price?

I'm looking for a place to do a custom 2.5" catback with my own muffler and resonator. All I need is good welding and bending with real stainless steel.

If you know, please give me the shop name and number where I can reach them. Thanks a lot :)

do you know approximately how much they'll charge me? I'm looking for someplace that can do it for 200 or less.

Thanks

Give Todd a call at Grand Muffler, he's the new owner. They have one of the best welders I've seen in the area and there prices are reasonable. (770) 426-0763

They did my old Mirage. Although it wasnt mandrel bent piping liked I asked for. It still sounded really good. I'm sure they can do mandrel bends though.....

thanks everyone. So how much did it cost any of you to get a custome piping? I'm now reluctant as to should I get a custom piping done, or get a stainless steel catback on ebay for 205 shipped then cut off their cheap muffler and weld my own on.

Do you guys think that it would more than $200 for the muffler shop to do a custom stainless steel catback?

dude, you aren't getting it done in stainless for $200 or less. stainless is fuggin expensive, you'd be better off buying a pre-made stainless exhaust.

now mild or aluminized steel you can probably get away with.

I talked to Andy's, they don't do mandrel bents. Grand muffler said that they can but can't tell how much it'll be until they raised the car and look at it.

So my best bet is to get an ebay's premade stainless exhaust, cut their muffler of, then weld mine on for 200 bucks?

Any opinions?

Thanks everyone.

I don't trust them ebay's anymore, they screwed me up enough time.

I checked Andy's, Rainbow Muffler, and they don't do mandrel bent.

I haven't the time to check out Todd on Grand Muffler. Does anyone know any other local place that can do it in the south area? (Fayetteville, Jonesboro, etc. ?) All I need is a piping done, not the muffler. :(
