salvage titles cars

ok when you have a salvage title car and someone hits you and its there fault what percentage of the cars value do you get??

you can't drive a car with a salvage title on the road, it has to be repaired and issued a rebuilt title. It's up to the adjuster.

well this is the issue my g/f just bought a del sol. carfax says its a salvage title but the title says its clean. what does that mean who is wrong?? should sell the car back or keep it?
