what you guys don't understand is...that you can get this phone for even free if you join a contract. if you already have a tmobile account, and you walk in the store and purchase this identical phone, you won't walk out with the phone for $20.

go in the store and ask, "i already have a tmo SIM card, and i'd like the t809 only. how much is it?"

Yup. In his defense, though it just dropped to 199 like two weeks ago. Up until then it's been 250 w/contract. And it's a 2 year contract.
