NEW CROWER 3 PIECE CAMS!!!! GANGSTA!!

My small business (Serious Customs) wholesale license and my part time gig of slanging parts has afforded me awesome opportunities. My latest opportunity is the 1st to test the new THREE PIECE Crower 401s. There is not another person on the planet who can claim such. Man, this cam was SO hott, that it threw my timing belt and made the car undriveable. So I am gonna back off a bit in my next attempt to load my sick B16 w/ some street cams. LOL.

Seriously, here is what happens when your B16 is as GANGSTA as mine. VTEC hits so hard that you snap Crower 401s in 2 different places. YIKES!!! I mean I simply can NOT find a company that can provide me w/ cams good enuff to withstand the VTEK POWAH of the "beast". So, sadly, I had to remove this bumptick and its twin brother. :) In their place currently is JDM B16A cams, but I did order some new cams (shhhh, it's a secret) last night. :)

every set of B series crower cams i see break. They have been doing it for YEARS. They had some bad casting techniques that plagued them.

contact them, im sure theyll replace it.

At least we know now why it was moving like that. LOL. I knew something was up b/c VTEC was engaging, but it was DEF not as "gangsta" as it used to be. :) Crower cams FTL!! :)

And Mike (99Si) I ordered the header gasket... when it comes in I will have MS put it on the EF. Gotta pick up the header from the polishing shop... and I want a scrape plate installed. Dropped $830 to Hytech a MONTH ago (header for my EG), they insured me that they had my header IN STOCK, I called last Friday and it has not shipped. I'm not asking for a refund, but I DO expect them to send some of the $$ back... we'll see of I can get 'em to play fair.

I can't tell you the secret Jedi Secrets of gangsta VTEC powah. But I will tell what NOT to do.... when you are dialing in your build... overlaying your cam hot spot, VTEC crossover and NOS engagement at the exact same location in the power band is prolly not the best idea. LOL. Stagger it for laying down the power progressively. Or just call Mike at MSPI. Then drink beer.

Just talked to Dustin Spencer at Crower. They are tossing me not 1, but 2 new cams of my choice (out of their 40x series). I even get free shipping. These are new and "virtually" unbreakable under normal operation (www.crower.com (http://www.crower.com)). Wondering if I should sell them as soon as I get 'em or cancel my order from last night. Decisions decisions. :)

What can you do for me? These were installed by a professional shot (PFI Speed --> www.pfispeed.com (http://www.pfispeed.com/)) and torqued to spec. I went w/ complete valve train as well.

You got my phone number man. :) When my EF was down you came through with some JDM B16 cams for cheap even though you know how much I make an hour. Even though I have other rides to drive, that's class man to not try to make a killing. You got 1st dibs on the Crowers when they come in. I got a fresh b16 2day too from Colorado that's gonna be for sale in a week. Head needs a valve guide & it will b ready 2 go. If NE1 has 1 LMK. It was just too much for me to manage while I was still in the Air Force and got way too big too fast. I considered getting it off the ground again but the parts-whore market is all but mutted out these days w/ every Joe Blow w/ a RESELLER license thinking it's as good as a WD or Wholesale account.
