Had a good time at the V tonight. Hung out with some cool cats. Not to hate, but unfortunately, too many people were lighting up their tires. I am a little concerned that the V ownership might not appreciate that and won't allow us to meet there anymore. It's a great place with ample space. I hope that wont happen!

I saw some other sweet rides there also. Gotta say I love the Scoobies and that sweet ass clean Impala! I met a guy who had a 97 GTST and was rear ended on the highway from complete stop by a pilot. I saw the pics. The wall behind the seats was less than a foot from the rear of the front seats. It didn't even look like a car. He is lucky to be alive! Very cool guy, though. Lol God must've known to keep him around!

I am selling it because I am getting married this month in Japan. While I am there, I might pick up an R32 GTR! I have no complaints about my current car. I've always wanted a GTR, preferably an R33, but they're too expensive right now.

zoborax
06-03-2006, 07:03 AM
I'm going to show the ride today. The guy is going to have his mechanic throw it up on a lift to check it out. Actually, any potential buyers, I recommend thoroughly checking out the car, so they know exactly what they're getting. If you guys have any questions, please PM me! Need to sell pronto!

i believe its still for sale. He'll be in town till the 16th, but after that you gotta wait 2 weeks till he gets back. If you guys want the car, id suggest you buy it before the 16th. If not, my car will be sold later, and ill buy this when he returns.

zoborax
06-03-2006, 06:40 PM
Hey Guys. Trizzy is probably right! I have not sold it yet, but a serious buyer had it checked out at the dealership where he works. I haven't verified it myself, but the mechanic found that the PS reservoir has a small leak, and the master brake cylinder is going bad. May need replaced. He did say the engine was in excellent shape, however. I will check upon the above-mentioned issues, and if they need replacing, I will either do it, or knock a little of the price. BTW. Just got the car cleaned for free today, because its a SKYLINE!!! ;)

Curious as to what the title says.. How is it registered? was t issued a Vin from the DMV? the Vin should be something like BNCR or BCR.. something like that.

zoborax
06-06-2006, 04:27 PM
Like it says in the first post. It is titled and registered as exactly what it is, and the vin is the chassis code....ECR..... Are you interested in buying it?

It would say BCNR33xxxxxx if it was a GTR... its a GTSt, so itll be something like ECR33xxxxxx

zoborax
06-07-2006, 01:33 PM
Trizzy is exactly right. ECR33 is the 1st 5 digits of the chassis code, which is also the 1st 5 digits of the state issued (initially in MS), 11-digit VIN. Progressive insurance then adds 6 zeros to the end of the number, so they can input it into their system.

Can't wait to see it!

My buddy just picked up an R34 Vspec!!! He said it has 700 hp. It's the metallic blue color, the one I love!!! I wish I had money for something like that. I'd have to sell my car about 5 times over to get something like that. Maybe some day.
If I have time this weekend, I'll get the alignment done on my skyline. Wheel's a bit crooked, but drives straight, anyways.

Someone needs to buy this car. everyone always talks about wanting a skyline but here is a legal, registered skyline at a REALLY low price.. and the man has to almost wait till the last minute to sell. I have personally seen the title and insurance card-- all registered as a skyline. not a nissan 240sx, not a kit car- a nissan skyline with corresponding VIN#s. I dont know if you guys know exactly how hard/expensive it is to get this car to be as legal as it is! 16,000 is cheap as it is and because of the registration, banks will loan on this car! hell if I didnt already have my s2k I'd have bought this thing the day after I met the man at the varsity!

As for the condition of the car, I've had a auth rhd integra, a buddy of mine has had the 97 gtst that jon mentioned, a jdm mr2, and another of my friends had a auth 180sx, all of them came with body damage, all had surface rust. this car is easily repairable. as for the rust-- japan is a island, these cars come over by container by ocean freight-- container = damage, bare damaged metal around humidity = rust. again easily repairable, not enough to detract from the sale.

lol kinda rambled on there longer than i thought-- but i'm still surprised to see this car not sold.

Later
Sean

Gotta run back to work now. Take it easy man!

Georgia is not the best place to do the 1st registration. You're better off going to another state like FL or MS and registering the car there first. After that, you can x-fer the title to GA and register the car here.

r34 No

R32 Yes possibly

Besides, skylines suck anyways

YokotaS13
06-24-2006, 10:32 AM
you can get an r33 GTR that has been tuned by top secret with CF goodies for 13,000

you know how i know, a guy i work with has one.
R32 GTR.....6-7000 with lots of goodies, know how i know
A good friend has one

Cost to import a street legal Skyline (or any other JDM car) to florida
5,000 even

You got hosed, and whoever imported the car made cash....Just so you know

and BTW
A GTs25T is only 2500-3500 dollars here, he made near 100% profit lol

But hey you have a skyline with rust, and in need of work.....good catch

NSX BTW (http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.jsp?car_id=203207522&dealer_id=57953639&car_year=1992&mod_bookmark_id=null&search_type=both&num_records=&make=ACURA&distance=0&model=NSX&address=29577&advanced=&certified=&max_price=&bkms=1151163225294&sort_type=priceASC&min_price=&first_record=1&end_year=2007&start_year=1981&isp=y&pager.offset=0&lang=en&cardist=302)

becuase you said there wasnt one
and its, in ga

But you have a SKYLINE!!!!!Oh shit Tokyo drift in cali FTW

TrizzyDizzy
06-24-2006, 12:00 PM
That NSX has been for sale for over a year now. Its wrecked in teh front bumper, bent core support and bumper beam. Has many miles on the chasis and still for sale.

I honestly, no f'ing joke, can find an R32-GTR for as low as Y300K, an R33-GTR for as low as Y800K, and the lowest i could find an R34-GTR is is Y2300k. Though there is a white, wrecked GTR for Y1400K currently.

GTsTs can literally go for Y100K for an R32. R33 GTsTs can be as low as Y300K.

Cost to get one car over to any port in Florida, $3000. Cost to get it through customs, $500. And the rest my friend is G14 classified.

*im not doing this for business, so please dont ask me to do it for you, unless you are willign to make a 10k deposit*

TrizzyDizzy
06-24-2006, 12:02 PM
and for a general reference (not precise), every Y100 = $1. So take off 2 zeros off of any Yen price, and youll have a ballpark estimate of its US cost.

It costs throught he guy im going to go through on the 180 5,000 with everything i need and hes brought back 3 other friends 180s and gtrs...

so someone got had on a shitty condition gts25t

Its all groovy, I'm not too worried about how much it costs. Ya I could've had better for a cheaper price but oh well. Money is spent, plus its going into the shop as soon as I take delivery anyways. Pretty much at this point in my life, money is the last thing I'm worried about... Was in a bike wreck in march here in dville, hit head on by a drunk driver. All this is, is me tossing a very small part of my insurance settlement around.

im all reality though, I can raid up garage for you. They have a few FMIC setups, BOVs for the car, I believe there is a powerfc and commander up there as well.
yer not as retarded as the seller, (well in some sense anyways lol) and id rather see a skyline go into someones hands that will do it right in the states and not a ricer

What the fuck makes the seller retarded?

YokotaS13
06-24-2006, 09:45 PM
paying 16 grand for a car thats rusing on one of the hardest panels to fix on teh car,
paying 16,000 for a car that even the seller cant get the name right on
payig 16,000 for a skyline

but if he wants to build it. Im all down for helping out a nissan familia member

simple supply and demand. buy low, sell high. Theres no such thing as an even trade, someone always gets the upper hand. we are ruining it for the people that make a profit off of this trade.

just to let you know. I did not pay much less than I am selling the car for. Of course I the price is slightly higher than what I paide, but it's titled and registered and passed emissions. As for the price being high to begin with, yes as noted, these cars are tonnes cheaper in Japan and are in high abundance. But the US market is quite different. The going rate for an R34 GTR is about 60-70k. You can buy them here for about 35k. So f'ing what? I am tired of people talking shit. I offered to meet Yokotas13 while I was in Akasaka (tokyo), but he chickened out. He's just like the ricers around atlanta with their loud fart cans and clothing hanger wings. All show and no go! BTW I may be able to get more cars in the future! I can connect serious interested parties with the right contacts to get what they want within their budget! Anyways. I gotta get back to touring Hiroshima with my new wife! Y'all take care!

Yeah i chickened out?

I believe the conversation was the you must be a marine, due to the lack of problem solving skills and maturity....but that is besides the point.

It's not a province, DUMBASS! Japan has no provinces.. It has Prefectures, and there are 47 of them. If you have any clue about Japan, you would know that Akasaka is in the heart of Tokyo. You know, where the US Embassy is located, along with many other countrys' Embassies? BTW I am not in the military whatsoever. And you must be some loser who wishes he has the ability to drive Awesome cars in Japan, but has no clue of the language or culture, or any of the resources to accomplish such a feat. Simply, you are just another ignorant American disgracing Old Glory with your poor skills representing our country as an ambassador.

I am now back in Tokyo on the last leg of my trip. I can surely accommodate a brief meeting with you within Tokyo, if you like. Or if you are too weak and afraid to do that, then we can always meet in Atlanta, whenever you return.

Really, the only problem to solve is for you to quit talking shit, period. If you wish to continue, then you should be willing to back it up in person. DON'T SAY ANYTHING THAT YOU CANNOT BACK UP OR ARE NOT WILLING TO SAY IN PERSON. That being said, stay the fuck out of this thread, and go "contribute" your "deep thoughts" elsewhere!

PS. Your diction really sucks...

Thanks for the props! I may be getting an R32 GTR soon! Not sure exactly when, but it's possible. Until then, I'll be rolling around in my $1000 American beast (but quite reliable), '89 Buick Lesabre!

Yes everyone! I am back now from Japan! I wish I could live there (and have a decent paying job). It appears that the car is sold. Deposit recieved, and deal should be done on Monday. Once the deal is complete, I will have this thread removed. I will start a new thread if and when I buy the R32 GTR, if all goes well. I do appreciate everyone (ahem almost everyone) for viewing this thread and making nice comments!
