My first real try with photoshop

On another forum I visit they have a PS contest where they all photoshop the same car. Then a winner is voted and the winner picks the next car. I have been using Photoshop for about a week now and gave this weeks contest a try.

how do i do that?

make a shadow under the car layer but above the rim layer... you could make a shadow using a feathered out selection of the car or by doing a drop shadow blending option with the car layer

I am having trouble doing it with the drop shadow but I managed to make some form of shadow using a technique I learned for tinting windows.
