my friend wanted to join the army ever since he got into college, did 4 yrs of rotc and then got commissioned as soon as he graduated. he's currently in korea on his first tour. it's all up to u man, most ppl i've known that were in the armed services loved their country and also knew that it would be a great experience and a great opportunity for their futures. goodluck if u decide to enlist.

I served in the army for 4.5 years and would be more than happy to provide you with any informatation or advice you would like. I also served for two one-year tours in Iraq. You can pm me for contact info and I can discuss it with you offline.

Dad served 27 years in the Army. I can get you in touch with him if you want for questions. He retired in 1993.

Nope, just a guy who used to be in the army. I got out at the begining of this year. I was just offering very objective advice. The military is for some and not for others, but I am very glad that I have done what I have done.
