Halfwit let me know. I didn't know you were needing a rex. I happen to have one available that body and interior is complete and in overall good shape. It is an auto, both CV's are busted, the muffler is pretty much gone, it leaks some oil, the air is not working properly but is equipped. It is a CX I believe and does not have a sunroof which will help for your light weight goals. We should be able to work something out on the money.

Halfwit
06-12-2006, 02:58 PM
thansk 99si, but i have no money or patience for auto-manny swap.

99SI
06-12-2006, 02:58 PM
that's very easy to remedy in that car. It's an 88 I just checked.

If you are doing a swap doing the conversion to manual while you are at it is not that hard. You are going to be ditching the stock gear box either way.

Halfwit
06-12-2006, 03:00 PM
= extra money, and i have already planned it out to the week it will be done. ill find a 5 spd..

lol, I wouldn't be too hard set on a date of completion. You might get disappointed. With what you are doing though it's nothing major so it shouldn't be a problem. Just keep an open mind for any setbacks/delays.

wat u need to do a 5spd swap on that $200 automatic shell : Shiftlinkage, clutch pedal and clutch cable..........so basically the only 2 things u would need are the pedal and cable...since i'm pretty sure ur gonna do a 5spd swap and put a bserires or somethign or another

you dont understand, by completion i meant having all the cash, and just waiting for finished product. i will not wait another month to have to get cash for swap parts and labor. k thanks

cut thegay shti, i need a 5 spd shell.

Listen you little shit, I know you think you're a bad ass now that you post all the time on this forum. But remember that I'm a grown man. Do not come at me blowing me off like I'm some nobody little dip shit. I threw out the suggestion to begin with because I thought it might could help you. You're right, I didn't understand when you said that you had the exact completion date down, to me completion is when you get your car back and it's finished. I was only throwing some advice. K thanks your little ass back over to Eagles Landing High School and learn some manners you ungrateful little prick. Don't expect a fucking helping hand or advice coming from my way again.

damn man. you did help me, but after i state that i dont want a auto shell, i dont want more convincing on why i should get one or why it can be ok.(thats what i meant by cut the gay shit, and i was referring to annihlation, not you.) all i did was tell you what i meant by a date of completion..how was that offensive?ps: didnt mean to have the "k thanks" as offensiveness, but i see how u took it.

You've just been getting a little too cocky for my taste. I know a bunch of people have been jumping in telling you this and that. If you actually go back and read the sequence of things you'll see that I posted about the CRX I have, you said no auto, I just wanted to MAKE SURE YOU KNEW that the swap from auto-man is not that intensive and would not make for a significant increase in the amount of money you spend. After you said that you had it planned out and did not want to deviate from your budget for the auto-man swap I said, "10-4 just wanted to let you know, if you don't find anything just let me know, Good luck." Then you come back again and get smart when I tell you something in very nice terms to keep an open mind about a completion date, which to anyone reading would assume that meant the date you rolled it out of the shop with your swap done. It just pisses me off. I am always extremely nice to people, on here and in person. I try to help people out as much as others have helped me out before when I came on here and didn't know dick about Honda's. Little smart ass shit like "K thanks" that type of dismissive language to me is very disrespectful. Especially when you are directing it at me who has never done anything other than try to give you a hand. Good luck seriously, but that shit really did piss me off. Know who is trying to help you and who is babbling about shit just because they think they know something. Keep that in mind when you're going through this process, treat people with respect that are treating you the same way.

nah, we're squared away. I'm always a mild mannered and nice fellow but Casey pushed the wrong button. People never expect it from me, but when my temper does come on it comes on quick. I let most things roll off and don't worry bout them. But he pissed me off and I reacted. Casey and I have talked about it and he has apologized and we are on good terms. I'm more impressed with the fact that he acted like a man and admitted wrong and got things straightened out and he didn't try to start talking shit like so many people do on this site.
