The evo of course. Spinning through first and taking 1 second to build the boost back to 30psi after I shifted into 5th. I'm not revving the stroker over 7700 right now. Its been to 9500 on the dyno but there is no need to rev it that high.

Those 240s just slide, they don't hook up for shit.

I ran a best time of 14.5 @ 97 on street tires, and a 14.3 @ 98 on Morelian's slicks. I probably could've done better if my launch control wasn't set at only 4K. On the line my car straight up died when I dumped the clutch on the slicks, was embarassing :rolleyes: . Made both qualifying rounds but then got eliminated by NismoSleeper's Altima.

Had a little more whp since the last time we went to the track but the track was slick as hell. We were still able to pull some good 60ft's(1.7) but we have run better numbers before. We made the mistake of underestimating who would be there but we won't make that mistake again. lol :nx:

I ran 14.7--> 94mph in the 85 rolla. Me and the car had our very first drag event, I had alot of fun. I wish I could post my vids on here . . . . I'm clueless on how to get them off the camera and into some type of file . . . .

I broke on every pass I made... random lil bits of everything but nothing serious and nothing that can't be fixed... I did get to run a 12.1 while hitting the brakes after shifting into 4th gear... and ran a 11.9 popping off a clamp/coupler after shifting into 4th gear.

This was my first time running on drag radials and I was scared to break shit so I set the 2-step to be real mild and made it more and more aggressive... started off with a 2.1 60' and ended up with a 1.6 60'...

None the less... congrats to all the winners and thanks to TS and especially Jon for his help on my car in the blistering 90+ degree temps.

If the outside temps are this hot again for that domestic/import competition, I may not come out... there were multiple times I got real dizzy from the heat and my idle air temps were 135 degrees. =[

Superglue the couplers to the piping and then use clamps. It sounds stupid but it works. Trust me!

When I had my eclipse and was running 25-26psi, my couplers would pop off all the time until someone told me to use the superglue. I never had a problem with them again.

If you need to remove the couplers, you just take a flathead screwdrive and ring the inside of the coupler and they come off fairly easy.

In a competition if your competitor cuts a perfect light to your .788, they have almost a 1 second head start off the line.

The E/T clock doesn't start till your car moves. You can sit on the line for 20 seconds if you wanted to, after the light turns green the Reaction time starts going but NOT your E/T. Ya feels me ?

Yeah, Dave cut a .017 react time in the showdown class finals. I had a .010,.007, and .008 but for some reason started hitting boost cut in the silvia on the first pass I made and still can't figure out why. We are looking at it tonight so hopefully it is something simple. :doh:

what are your mods? i almost ran that in a 2600lb stock gsr swaped integra on 17's and a open o2 hole in my exhaust...the shit vibrated out so i had a major exhaust leak.

dude i have about 17 time slips from the other day...i was running 14.8's-15.1's like all day the the run before my very last i squeeze out that 14.7..i had to rev my car to 8700 in 3rd but i still ran it.

my car weighed 2630 with me in it and yeah i was running on 17's with bald kuhmo 711 street tires. My O2 sensor vibrated out my exhaust so i had a big hole in it. As far as mods i just got I/H/E. I think my lauches sucked!! and were killing my time lol. With some steelies and fixed exhaust leak i think i coulda hit a 14.5

1/[email protected]". You always have too low of trap speeds for those times, meaning you must have a really good launch then slow down at the end of the track. You use street tires or what? I've never seen with my own eyes someone that runs 14s in a stock GSR yet, or a close to stock B16 hatch that runs 14 flat.

well i mean it's not the stock motor...it's a b18c1 in a 91 chassis but it doesnt have anything but I/H/E..if my aebs manifold and t-bodie come in by this weekend then im gonna go again and shoot for 14.5 or lower...then im putting the turbo kit on and shooting for high to mid 12's.

lol i know my 2.4 is HORRIBLE!!!..lol it will improve though...i just put on my AEBS intake manifold and T-bodie...and i got my exhaust leak fixed...i feel low 14's coming!
