When I bought my car it had a cheap macco paint job.
So it has orange peel all over. I've heard that wet sanding will get it out.
Read some tutorials about it online, but everybody has a different method.

Has anybody every done it before?

How where your results?

Is it o.k so wetsand a cheap ass paint job?

What grit sand paper should I use?

Any information on the matter in appreciated.
TIA :D

It all depends how much paint there is to sand. So be careful because maaco might not have put that much paint down. I have done it before and its turned out quite well. Just gotta have patience. you MUST have a sanding pad or block or else you'll get burns all over the place 1500-2000 will work. But remember your final result wont be shiny. it'll just be smooth. It has to be buffed w/ compound and polish before you get a glassy finish. You can also burn through paint w/ the buffer
