Has anyone else noticed that really smart people have little to no common sense? It seems like a lot of people that I meet and know that are "book smart" have no common sense. Some people are close to being balanced, but some are just completely lost in life.

Whose to say somebody isn't sitting back right now and saying the exact same shit about any of you?

Some of you people need to step the fuck off your high horses. Nobody is perfect.

end.

book smarts have their place, and common sense has its place.. ive known book smart ppl who wouldnt have been any good at what they did if they had any sense.

Oh I know I'm not perfect. I was just stating an opinion of mine that many people agree with me on.

Damn man, who pissed in your cereal this morning? I just stated an opinion and a few people agreed with me and then you come out saying "nobody is perfect." No where did I say someone is perfect, I just said people should be balanced and if anyone else noticed that common sense and being really smart have a correlation between each other.

Im afraid this matter goes wayyy beyond someone being book vs. street smart.

Cause if you think about it.. One's intelligence cant really be measured by the next man.

...And who exactly determines what is or isnt common sense?

I more or less like to refer to the book worms as "brainwashed." Since they have the knowledge but cant neccesarily apply it their daily activities or issues.

There is someone out there with the outlook to decide who is and isn't street/book smart, but who's gonna be the person to decide who that is?
