As far RS shit, do you live in Kennesaw? I'm the guy with the Galant VR-4 that made fun of you like last fall, or some Civic with "Rally Sport" stuff all over it.

the headers dont even look like they are connected to the turbo..... and if they are, they must be bent low to the ground and at a hella angle. hella angle = restrictive flow = stupidest damn idea ever. a fucking turbo d17 breaks 160whp maybe without a huge investment. drop a k20, even a k20a3 and look stock and be faster.

I take back what i said. Read your post wrong. But d17's can put out some good numbers boosted, even on a stock block.

i used to have a 7th gen and i know what numbers they can put out on the stock block. but agian, i repeat, a turbo on a d17 is not cost effective for big power. swapin in a k20a3 is the exact same cost, actually cheaper, and gives u a better powerband and a better platform to build on. for the price for most kits, you could put a k20a3 in, a k20a2 tranny, cams intake etc if you find the right place to buy.

you don't know what your talking about. stock internals with THE RIGHT TUNE and fuel setup can run good numbers. 200s good. if you dont believe me go to 7thgencivic.com and ask. and there have been turbos put on after market NON turbo manifolds. it was just an idea. so anyway, don't hate on the d17. its my project not yours.
and a k SWAP would be at least 5k! my boost setup im building on my own will cost around 2k MAYBE.

K seems when you say you are new to this... you are following the wrong damn crowd for mods but whatever floats your boat i guess... just good god that is scary :eek:

the 7th gen is probably the worst civic platform since the 80's.... you should set it on fire... then you will have some cool real flames on your ride...

yea sorry to tell him those numbers are 200 hp at the crank. despite the awesomeness of a d17, i dont think it has 0% drivetrain loss. and if someone is pushing 200whp out of the stock 100whp engine with no mods, that engine is a time bomb waiting to happen so please stay away from my cars. and you might want to reconsider prices because i said k20a3,which a full swap, axles ecu etc runs 1200 at max. plus the 500 mounts, and the 200 wiring kit, your at just below 2k at max. so research, i did straight for the 5 months i had my 7th gen. then i did the right thing and sold it.

that d17 is built to push 30 psi +. its a 13 second car
buahahahahaah that says it all. its not a matter of hating. its a matter of people who know what their talking bout trying to let you know the truth and inform and you having the typical ricer mentality of im better than them i know what im doing. and please let me know when you have finished ur build even tho ill prolly already know because youll be burning out in bp this time through 2nd. i wasnt hating, just saying, if your wanting a high powereed seventh gen, you're wasting your time with a d17, because to make big power youll need to build the block, which sure isnt gonna be 2k. want proof, i believe the fastest 7th gen belongs to a shop in florida, google the video. its a k20a2 turboed. with 550ish whp.
