Topic Description:

You can shoot anything that involves people. People at a movie theater, people at a park, but you must capture a moment that is discrete. Im not saying go out and capture a voyeur shot, just be subtle and dont stick a camera in someones face.

This is a tough one for me, cause Im in a small town and I wasnt around any crowds this weekend...sorry! Still an awesome idea though, and I'll be ready for the next one...

NO!! I wanted the VR but when I had the money, it was sold out and on backorder. Now the money is a lil tight so I will have to hold off for a bit. VR is where its at though, cause I like to take a lot of night shots.

VR is the shit, but for still shots at night Id honestly rather use a tripod, and save the other 600-700 dollars for another lens. Personal opinion though.

VR helps.. but soo does practicing a steady hand, something most people dont do. Body position is a affordable alternative to VR :D

Large crowds and slow shutter speeds is not a good combination. I had no problem pushing them out of the way but everytime a celebrity came close or stood up they bumrushed to get a pic. :rant:
