After I beat su in his red hatch charles instigated a race between myself and Ming( this is the srt-4 owner that beat GGPIS3). He also agreed to a 45 and a 60 kick. Both races I put a good bus length on his. Charles has those vids and if he would get off his lazy ass he should have them ready to be posted.
Ming is definetly a cool guy with a fast car. He was pretty patient with me and my IC piping that poped of 3 times that night.

Charles vid anytime you are ready.

Thanks for making it sound like it was closer than it really was. http://forums.importatlanta.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif http://forums.importatlanta.com/images/smilies/lmfao.gifThat car is quick. http://forums.importatlanta.com/images/smilies/goodjob.gif http://forums.importatlanta.com/images/smilies/bowdown.gif http://forums.importatlanta.com/images/smilies/bowdown.gif

The last time against Dan off the bottle, Dan took me. Had I not been kicked out of HOM (high octane mode), it might have been closer. HOM did hold for most of the run until sometime after fifth gear. It was around 140 that Dan just shot up. At first I thought that he http://forums.importatlanta.com/images/smilies/nxsmile.gif just for shits and giggles due to how he just shot up. It wasn't until I looked at my HOM indicator that I found out that it was me who lost 40 horsepower and not Dan gaining power to cause Dan to shoot right up. http://forums.importatlanta.com/images/smilies/11doh.gif http://forums.importatlanta.com/images/smilies/owned.gif (Just FYI, the HOM indicator is blocked from my view from the drivers seat by my steering wheel so I cannot see it unless I push myself out of the seat to look at it.) When I found out that HOM was off, it was already too late to reset it. Too late meaning my speedo pegging its 160 reading and I wouldn't have caught up by the time I hit my rev limiter at a little bit past 170. Man, I need a sixth gear. http://forums.importatlanta.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif Dan got me on that run. http://forums.importatlanta.com/images/smilies/goodjob.gif

Ming time to get W/I and stop trying to screw with that Mopar stage 3 HOM crap...just run Meth/W injection and run HOM all day long with NP.

W/I is something I might consider sometime later in the future but most S3 cars with W/I still have to run Torco or 100+ octane fuel to hold HOM. I have been holding HOM fine in the past without W/I and it's only been just lately that I've been getting kicked out of HOM. The main culprit of HOM problems is usually the knock sensor but before shelling out the $$$ for a new one, I'm gonna try out different fuels and/or refuel at the same station after they get in a new load. It could be just the batch of gas.

Yeah I hear you and also the main reason why I do not like MOPAR Stage upgrades. The ECU and boost conrtol selinoids constantly ruin all the fun...but I stick by the W/I solution..you could run HOM all day without any knock, look into it I checked it out when I got mine it will solve the problem..my kit was only $165 and I installed it in about 3 hours..BTW what WHP are you running in HOM vs. without?

Dyno'd at Mainstream:
304 whp/310 wtq HOM off
340 whp/348 wtq HOM on

I should have did a boost leak check before getting dyno'd but I didn't. Also I didn't use race gas but instead threw in a bottle of Torco with six gallons of 93 pump to activate HOM on my dyno pulls. This may have lead to the slightly lower than normal S3 numbers.
