You young guys don't understand and never will. It is a heritage of the mustang, the GT500, GT350, and the GT40 are all limited production true muscle/super cars from the 60's. The new GT500 carries on that tradition and is one of the few that Carroll Shelby has liscensed in a long time. They are collector items right off the bat, just like the '02-'04 Mach 1 mustangs but the GT500 will pull more money.

the new gt500 is a milestone and will be a collectors car just like the 67 gt500 which sold for around $12000 probibly, but im not shure about that, but now if you watch barrett jackson, you cant pick one up for under 70000. its all about the history and the legond. i know im excited for them to come out, and i would love to get one but as for now... i cant afford the price ticket. i think that they look awesome and amazing. but im excited and thrilled for whoever can get there hands on one. its definatlly gonna be a car to remember

Although, if giving the opportunity, i would shake Carrol Shelby's hand for starting a legacy. he started a revolution so i can't knock him for that. there are few american cars that i like....very few.
