Well i answered my own ?.....................................
The '69 Camaro's front subframe was replaced with one that incorporates custom tubular A-arms and coil-over Tein shock absorbers. The rack and pinion steering was custom-built with an extremely quick ratio and extended steering angle. (Photo courtesy of Randy Lorentzen/Planet R)
Heres the link, car is pretty sick, nice video too

$12k setup I believe. But just because your the sponsor doesn't mean that you have to have something on the car, just the $$$.
tien builds custom suspension now you just have to send in your oem suspension then they build you one to your specs

it's not really DA, it's anyone backed by a big name sponsor ;). they let all kinds of shit slide that's specifically outlined in the rulebook.... depending on who you are.

I don't know if Hampton is still running that front end. From what I understand that tube front end is a stock dimension replacment that is easily obtainable by anyone. But due to the FD rules I think he said he was planning on running a stock front end again but take advantage of the 2" suspension mount movement rule for MY 1990 and older vehicles. Maybe he did maybe he didn't, I didn't see under the hood of his car at FD last week.
