Bad Clutch???

What are signs of your clutch going out???

Sometimes when my car is in gear and i'm holding the clutch down, it sounds like it wants to shut of (but doesn't). Then it's getting harder to shift in and out of gears. Are these signs of a bad clutch or something more???

clutch drag. does ur car have a hydrollic clutch?

That sounds more like a master/slave sylender problem. not your clutch itself. That would explain the hard shifts because the clutch might not be fully dissengaging (sp).

u might just be able to adjust it but it depends on the car. have u had it a long time or did u just buy the car?

Bent Pressure Plate, how many miles is on it?

it COULD be a slave cylinder problem, but most of the time, thats a bent PP.

do this, put the clutch in, put it in gear, KEEP THE CLUTCH PUT IN, an rev it up to like 5-6000rpms, does the car move forward? if so, its the Pressure Plate , its warped or the disk has flexxed an its not disengaging

CRX? hydro tranny in it? if not, check the slack on your clutch cable
