I went to a place to buy some CD's today and picked up quite a few. I saw the "50 Cent, The Massacre" CD and said, "ah, what the hell, its only $4 RMB Ill get it too."
It wasn't until later that night that something hit me. US$1 = $8 RMB....

Therefore I bought the new 50 Cent CD for... you guessed it, 50 CENTS!

Just thought I'd share ;)

Its going great over here bud. I have a lot more pictures but I just don’t have the software to upload them to my laptop. My friend who does just went back to the US for 2 months. So it might be a while before anymore get on here... and depending on Michele's kindness to post them.
My return flight is for September 22nd.

Actually Cliff, a lot of people have been asking me to send pictures of some "Tight" cars... However, there aren’t any. When the people I work with found out I had a car and I showed them a picture of it, they all said, "Wow, you must be rich." They weren't just being nice either. Having a car over here is extremely expensive.

In numbers... 1USD = 8.26RMB.
While that’s great for me, it sucks for people here, because everything costs the same. A really nice meal that would cost 50USD per person, over here costs 50RMB. So my car was 8,000USD so around 66,000RMB... That’s the equivalent of you paying 66 grand for my car.
So there aren’t any to take pictures of.
I have however seen a LOT of the Suzuki Alto's that you see in GT3.
But that’s about it.

Yeah CD's are cheap over there, but the selection of US artists is bare. 50 is probably the only decent rap CD. The rest are like micheal jackson and stuff we don't listen to anymore.

I'm glad you're enjoying your stay over there, Chris. See if you can get some chinese techno, and I'll pay you for the cd. Do you have your own apartment over there or staying in a hotel or what?
