Alpharetta Police on the way home...

so i pull out of wild wings, get on 400, notice a car behind me kinda following at first on the ramp, didn't recognize the headlights (of a crown vic) so i started goin about 80-85. then the lights got closer and i was thinkin i need to slow down anyway hearing about dude gettin a $490 ticket for goin 10 over.

so i hold my speed to get by this other car and pull into the right lane, and that's when the lights come on. so i think i'm fucked, pull over onto the off ramp, make sure to get plenty off the road. turn on my lights inside, turn down the radio and start thinkin what i'm gonna say, especially w/my radar detector in plain view on the dash.

guy comes up i had the license and insurance ready for him. guy says he paced me at 80, said it was raining and i was goin to fast. i told him i'm not real familiar with the area and 400 and was more used to driving faster on 75. he takes my shit and just when i thought he was goin back to his car, he stood back, looked my shit over, told me once again it was raining and he didn't want me losing control and gettin in an accident. told me to slow down be careful and walked off. i sat there for a second thinking that was THE easiest fucking dealing i've ever had with a cop.

SCORE! guess it was just my nite :D

it def slowed me down some the rest of the way home too, good thing seeing as how i passed like 6 roswell cars on over the course of the next couple miles once i got off 400.

on a side note, felt bad for the guy that was riding a bike (yeah, like the kind where pedal and shit) on 400 on the inside shoulder :crazy:

You have good luck i guess. I've never gotten off any time i've been pulled over... I'm alwasy really nice and have stuff ready for them. Guess they just hate me LOL.

Forsyth county cops have some pretty good speed traps if anyone ever goes up my way. They put one car alil forward, then there will be 4 or 5 cops sitting just out of sight around a corner. It isnt werid to see about 6 people pulled over in one area up here.

that is why i love livin where i live. you can go 60 in a 45 here and they won't say anything to ya. I got pulled over for goin 57 in a 35 by a state and he reduced it to a 48 in a 35. Cops here give alot of slack.

They are doin contruction on one of the highways are here so now you have to go 45 or you get pulled over and get a big ticket. I have heard of people gettin pulled over for goin 46,

What? At that ponit in time I had been driving a clutch for a whole 2 days...I got pulled over on a monday and I bought the car and learned to drive it that day...Hills owned me at the time :D

Hell yea man the "not familiar with the area" excuse works really well especially if your really arent familiar with the area lol. I had to take a drug test in winder for wal-mart and I accidentally went through a church stop sign(hidden didn't see) at 35 mph over and I was a turn away from the building. I HAD TO PISS since i hadn't all day long. I get pulled over by K9 unit and I pull into another church and he checks my license and registration and says you know if I give you a ticket you will lose your license and can't get this new job. I said yes sir. He said be careful next time. *knock on wood* that was a close one. You got lucky man.
