yeah, I got two buddies in it now....and they both got A's in the first remedial algebra class and were so excited because they did piss poor in the rest of their classes and thought the "A" would curve their GPA.....well, comes to find out...it is not a college credit class.....needless to say, they were a little pissed.

they let you use one but it has to be the one on the computer that is provided in the program. yeah its algebra, but its like shit we've never covered or cover back like in high school, so thats wat fuckin sucks. i think ill just take a minimester to get it out of the way in the fall

I just talked to one of my buddies who just got out of that class and passed the compass, he said the reason they have that test and those classes is because 80% of kids who take college algebra fail, so they are just trying to give those two courses to make sure you dont fall into the 80% who fail.

already am, i think its ridiculous how they test a person especially on the computer over certain things that we dont even go over in the class that were taking it for. i mean come on, honestly, i think that if your going to pass the class you can move on, taking one fucking test is stupid

I know what you mean. I think that if you are passing the class, you should be able to move on. The COMPASS is making it hard for us. I hate math nor I am not good at it.
