I would be very cautious of Paypalling funds. I got scammed in a similiar situation as this and Paypal ripped the funds right out of my bank account without telling me.

Seriously though...you shouldnt use paypal...for such large transaction...they will hit the buyer and you for a fee.

exactly.. and i have seen it before.. before we got our pup i had searched puppyfind.com and found a cairn terrier that i really wanted. so i had emailed the "owner" of the pup.. she wrote back (in the same broken english) that was was in nigiera on a church mission to help the victims of Hurricane Katrina (which happened in the US mind you) she said i could western union her the money for the pup and she would ship her to me.. so i figured it was a scam but just pursed it for entertainment.. told her to send me pics.. she sent the same generic pics over and over.. it was so lame.. and it shamed me to see someone would use a church as their cover.. karma is a bitch..

When selling a car only take cash, or meet the person at THEIR bank, and WATCH them get a certified cashiers check in person. Thats the only way to be safe.

beware of any kinds of checks these days too. even cashier's checks can be faked. if they want to use a cashier's check meet them at the bank and make the teller verify everything (check is real mainly) before moving on. cashier's checks are good because you have to BUY them at the bank, it's not a voucher saying the funds are available like a regular personal check. so as long as the check is real (verified by the bank) then you're in buisiness.

Kelly when I bought the supra I had the dude call my bank and ask for my advisor and certify funds were there.. I didnt give them a number.. I told them it was bank of america..I told them what branch.. and I told them what his name was.. I figured that if they got the number and did it themselves there was no way I could have frauded them. They did a backround check on me as I did on them.. Spending as much as I did on the supra I wasnt going to get scammed or let someone thing I was trying to scam them...
