yeah.. having owned both an EG and EF.... its not really that big of a deal... just depends on what you want it to look like basically... if you mainly care about performance then EF + mods all tha way

EF>>>>>>>EG+EK {this is going to start something}

You would come out better buyin a EF since you would have money left to spend.

Get the CRX!! I had an 88 back in the day, and with $130 worth of cheap suspensin (lowering springs and f+r stb's) it handled awesome, i'd hate to fuck with one that had several hundered to a grand in it!! CRX > EG by far!!

Well ill chime in... Love my eg..I hade a crx was kinda loud/cheap inside, everything was faded or cracked due to it being so old... You can fid a eg in MUCH better shape and save a little cash later to mod it. If you got the crx youll be buying all kinds of old this and that that need to be fixed..Just my 2 cent.. Crx is good for a track car but for a daily i would go for the eg , if for nothing else saftey...

EFs are cool, however they have tight engine bays, require a mount kit for a B series motor, an turbo can be cimplicated with the limited room an becauase they are OBD0.

For Auto-X, a SI crx is one of the BEST cars period. they handle great, an with MINOR mods like suspension an tires you can make it very fun. the D16A6 is one of the best platforms in terms of a stock honda motor.

I have one, and im about to do PM7 pistons with a cam, should be 11.5:1 compression an make around 115-120 fl lbs of TQ an should be ALOT of fun

I agree with what GoinFasterthanu is saying, its very hard to find a good clean solid SI anymore.

Whats your buget , i might be selling mine, what are you willign to spend on a EF?

The CRX can still hold its own in Auto-X. Stock for Stock it should out perform the EG with the same driver as long as the suspension is in good shape.
