UP's
-IMRC's work beautifully, at 3250rpms the car has a second set of air intakes that open up creating more power, or you could do IMRC deletes which will gain in the area of 6-7 hp and 10ftlbs tq (according to MM&FF magazine)
-A/C blows ICE COLD and HEAT will make it feel like its a summer day in south georgia on full blast
-leather is in good condition for it being almost 10 years old, no cracks in the dash or discoloration, etc
-keyless entry works flawless w/ trunk opener
-paint is in good condition
-car has made about 6 passes or so at the racetrack, none since last year sometime, and has seen the autocross once as well, popped out a couple 13 second passes and went home
-oil has been changed w/ mobil1 synthetic since i bought the car in may of last year
-ive taken my son to nursery and picked im up every day, minus the last 2 months, since ive bought the car, so i never dogged the car out, not even w/ just me in the car.
DOWN's
-previous owner replaced transmission w/ Tremec tranny due to Reverse going out in original tranny and the T45's being all around turd trannies, just before selling it to me (he only owned the car 2 months). from what i understand the tremec tranny has an electronic speedo and the original was mechanical, therefore when you plug in the speed sensor it reads abnormally high, ive plugged it in once and at around 60 it read me as going 85, so the speed sensor has been unplugged since i bought it, i have a translator for the car that needs to be wired in but havent found anyone willing enough or that has given me a comfortable knowledge level to install it so its been sitting in my console. the speedo shows approx 45k miles, im figuring that the car has about 65k on it, ive only owned the car for a year (6months of which it was driven 3 days a week, 4 months of which it was driven 5 days a week, and has been driven 4 days a week for the past 2.5 months so i know my estimation is extremely high...theres no way ive driven the car 20k miles in the last year) and the car is driven locally only, and has only been on one road trip to Helen, GA which is about 175 miles one way for a weekend get away with the wife
-hood is cracked in the front, noticeable up close but from 10ft or so off you cant really see it, front bumper needs to be repainted due to normal road rash chips, etc
-front bumper cover is missing a couple retaining bolts from scrubbing a speed bump thats in front of my house when i leave and come home so one fog light looks like it sets higher than the other
-one fog light is brighter than the other, nothing major, i replaced one of the lights that blew and now the old one isnt quite as bright, not really a down but it irritates me
