I've said it a few times in here before but if you are as bad as you think you are and want to get some money races who don't mind dropping 5-10k on a race you need to be at Headhunter dragstrip in Eatonton on Thursday nights. Usually gets started about 8:30. There is no lack of Mustangs, Camaro's, Novas,Vegas, etc.. that will be glad to give you your money races that you so desperately desire. There is no tech. Gambling is welcome. The only thing is you better watch the language and the attitude that you throw out or those country boys will make you think Moreland is Disney Land. A few months ago on a Friday morning a body was found with a bullet hole in the forehead in the dumpsters a few hundred feet from the drag strip. Be cool pay your money when you lose and everything is cool. Run your mouths the way you have on this site or lose and don't pay up and you will find yourself in a very very bad situation that you don't want to be in. Hope I could be of help, no go win some folks money.

yo thanks for the advise but i am a street reacer, their is a art to finding the right combo. that works on the street. I have been in this a long time and do go to eatonton(sp) to side bet and hang out with my boys, hell its like a family renunion when we roll up. Anybody can build a car that makes a assload of power and stands on the bumper at the track , but being able to balance power, susp. , and drivability to make a monster on the street is what i enjoy and where streetracing is different from drag racing. And the talking shit part is just the way to make people want more to get out and bet some money. Guys that know they will never have a chance to be a big player in this game are the ones that take offence to the shit talking and turn a game it personal problems as focus boy has, and now turned bullshitin and laughing into fighting and watching backs. I intend no harm with the "shit talking" its just a part of the game to get more people envolved and up the bet, ( but when shit talking goes from cars and money to personal threats and wishes on someone or their family I will be the first one to act on those comments.) This is why im here, to make\lose money and have a shit load of fun racing on the street.

I understand about making a good street setup and being able to hook on the street as opposed to a prepared track environment on huge slicks. I just figured if you didn't already know about Eatonton that you might enjoy it since there is money to be made and it's more like a street racing environment than a track environment. You know what I'm talking about if you go down to Eatonton as an outsider running your mouth too big and especially if you drop racial slurs down you are very likely to end up not making the trip home. lol. Seen it myself. I go by the track every night on my way home. There's a guy that used to be a regular at Moreland that's in the McDonough area that runs a tubbed out Vega with a 355 that's pretty quick. There are some sick sick mustangs that are regulars at Eatonton that's for sure. Good luck on the money makin street racin. Hold it down.

I heard about Eatonton... too tall for any of my hatches or the Spec. :) But I do know that most of the guys there have street cars as well as track cars... if I built a hott V8 I'd be there.

Hell there's always a few imports and some guys with Fox Bodies that think because they have dual exhaust and an Autometer Monster tach they can beat pretty much everything. I enjoyed outrunning one of those such folks with my car one night, just before breaking an axle and slinging my alternator belt into the stands. lol. Besides, Thursday nights are test and tune, you can jump in line and run as much as you can get in. You don't have to drop down bills or run 5's in the 1/8th to go. There's always some funny shit too, not too long ago I was there and a guy with a janky old Ranger that they put a 5.0 in was doing his burnout and the U bolts broke leaving the rear end behind hiim and dropping the bed on the track. lol. Funniest shit ever seeing 8 guys pick up the bed of the truck and roll it backwards out of the way.

Damn Skinny D, back at it again eh? Long time no see, maybe I'll run into you on the skreet sometime soon. I don't think these boys undersand what you meant about the family reunion at e-town...I think more than 1/2 the people there would know you or any of the old crew when they rolled up -- That used to be a weekly trip for you and rowdy didn't it? I really wish I could turn back the clock a few years and bring this town back to the street racing days of yore that have since dissapeared since a bunch of jackasses decided to start dicking around at all the spots and draw too much attention from the man...
