i was given a movado watch once from an ex.. which i loved but it was bought for all the wrong reasons.. so the gift was nice but there was no meaning behind it..

well it was a couple years ago, but my dad was on his deathbed shortly before christmas of 99. well i consider myself very blessed that he's still with us. so that'll qualify as my favorite.

Its simple but so far my favorite was a book from my boyfriend... first series, and the last one in the set, plus it was very special to me.
But he spent two hours searching for it, knew I wanted it without me asking for it and gave it to me with a rose. :)

why you gotta make me cry mayne?!?! What's up with that?

Day before Christmas Eve (2004) I was hit by an old man in a Jeep Grand Cherokee going 80+. he hit me right in my door. I was laid up in the bed for a couple days but I am VERY, VERY thankful to still be alive and to be walking. I know of should have died on impact that day. I consider myself to be EXTREMELY lucky.......

Probably when I was around eight. My parents got a hay stack spread it out in the living room. Then they threw like $10 in change in it. So I had to dig threw the hay looking for change.

It was fun, but looking back I see my parent dicked me over that B-day. But I cant say anything, they were both students at the time, so money was scarse. Besides $1 buys a bag of water balloons, so I was set for a while.

I even remember going to buy the water balloons. I was a dumbass and confused time with money, so I thought there was 60cents in a dollar, the water balloons (green handgranade looking ones) were 80cents so I gave the cashier $2, he gave me my $1 back and explained there is 100cent in $1.

all I can say about that is "Val for President". Everyday I read something that she posted and it always puts a smile on my face. Then I see her sig and laugh my ass off!

My dads wedding ring was the most meaningful and the one thing that had me in tears and still makes me smile seeing it.

two things come to mind...

1. my dad gave me a tool set for christmas before he died because one day he called me and i was putting a bookshelf together with a swiss army knife and he felt bad for me (btw, he bought me teh knife before i went to college)

2. my boyfriend gave me a beautiful white gold chain for christmas two years ago...i have only taken it off to have it repaired when i forgot to take it off at rugby practice...:(
