The game resets every night at about 12:10 am. Usually QD changes the topic when he gets home from work, around 5 or 6ish in the evening.

If you're doing it at 12:10 or so you're doing the current day's game. If you're doing them at 11:55 or so it's the day before's game.

QD resets the trivia topics, not the game itself. That's done and scored automatically by the company. If you ever try and play at like 12:05 it will tell you that it's scoring the end of the day's results and to come back later.

When you play at 12:10, you're playing the current game's day (because we all know that at midnight the date changes, correct?). Notice that nobody else has played? It's a brand-new game.

Second day, some asshat (or asshats) create over 40 aliases to cheat. How badly do you need to get laid if you take the time to make 40 aliases to win an online trivia game?
