WTF.. I have an 348c.i... And Valvesprings, pushrods, and Diamond pistons don't give you horsepower, they give you insurance..

Why dont you regear the rearend? That should give your car a whole lot more pep throughout the entire powerband. On a reliability note, the shorter final drive will ease the shock loads on the transmission itself.
