Converting a VHS to digital file (mpg)

My wife and I find out what we're having on Tuesday and we're recording the sonogram on VHS. I'd like to convert the file to some sort of digital file so I can upload it online. Most of my family is in Florida and they'd be missing out.

Anyone know of a company that does this or anyone here know how to do it? I'd greatly apprecaite it. This is my first baby...thanks!

video capture card and a couple of cables. my friends and i did it for a project for school once. was a pain b/c we got a cheapey video capture card. btw here's a lil idea if you won't ever use the card again. buy a NICE card, use it a day then return it. that why you save a good bit of money.
