O one thing how old do you have to be for all these jobs. I am only 17 but am available for full time like a 9-5 but no weekends. I hope this will not screw me over but it did in the past.

eww...that sucks man. most companys wont hire anyone under 18 more than 25 hours a week. plus when you tell them you want 9-5 and no weekends....good luck man.

Yeah it really sucks cuse i am trying to go to collage after this summer but i will not have enough money. Fuck UTI is expensive.

i dont know if im correct or not cause i havent seen the laws in a while, but i dont think you can legally work over 25 hours a week and be under 18 (could be 16 though) because you should be in school. did you drop out, graduate early, or have early bday?? how are you going to work at 9 am at 17?

on a side note you have to be 18 or older to work at a dealership sorry and its 16 that you cant work over a certain amount of hours not 18

U can go to UTI just do like most college kids and take out a loan wit the skool! I'm pretty sure by them looking at your parents income or whatever They'll give u some type of loan to pay for skool.

fuck i need a job. I got in a crash today and it was my falt. I am so fucked. I need a job sooo bad. If anyone knows somewhere that is hiring and will hire a 17 year old please tell me. And for the questions that came up earlyer in the thread- Yes i dropped outta school due to some trouble i got in to. No worries tho cuse UTI will accept me with only a GED. I have talked to them a number of times and made sure of it. The only bad thing is they have no on campus housing. And i gotta be 18 to get any type of home other then a shopping cart and box. I hate my damn age :rant:

i know it sucks but the easiest thing to do would to be go to a retail place. the hours suck but they are always hiring. or fast food. Servers amke good money. when i was serving i made ALOT during spring time close to lanier but it got slow but you should still pull close to 500 a week at a good restaurant
