Yeah i was going back to the shop on Atlanta road the other day and when i hit the exit, i noticed a black infinity g35 coupe in front of me. After closer examination, i noticed that he had debadged his car and replaced it with SKYLINE badges. His liscense plate said SKYL1NE. I felt like puking my guts out. He had tinted windows so i didnt get a good look at his dumb ass.

Anyone else seen this loser around town???

i saw that guy at the dairy queen in duluth a few weeks ago.that car did look a little diffrent.it looked like he changed the brakes it had some huge calipers and monster drilled rotors.it also looked to be a little lower and the exaust looked larger,it also had some really nice rims and tires on it too. i think he may have done more than just slapped on a few badges,is there a upgrade you can get from the dealer to make your g35 a skyline?if so he must have done that. i thought it looked pretty good.

Did you just miss reading the posts above??? Also you can upgrade with ANY dealership. The G35's do have a huge aftermaket too. I know for a fact that Nalley Infiniti offer upgrades as well as Roswell Infinti (my friend is a master tech there).

My point was that its the same thing, just different name. Civics are somewhat different because of styling and other odds and ends, but I was just trying to say its not like putting a GT sticker on a V6 Mustang or putting a Type-R sticker on a Altima (which I did see, lol)

Anyone else seen this loser around town???just because you have a car that happens to share the same name as it's overseas counterpart doesn't mean you have to put everyone else down....it's no differant than putting a fairlady z emblem on a 300zx, Soarer badges on an sc300/400, Harrier badges on a RX300, etc. Japan rarely uses numbers for their names but americans associate with numbers...always wanting a higher/bigger number and they know that, using that knowledge to make more sales.

The G35 Coupe here is basically the same as the Skyline GT, there should not be a problem with someone wanting to take their car back to its roots despite being left hand drive and having the added safety features, emmisions equipment, and leather trim not found in the original/other version.

BUt its not like when in comes to the rankings of your commonly modded supras hes up in the ranks. Jaime has a FI-GS300, and I have never seen his attitude like that, and a modded GS next to a modded supra will always get more response from the average person.

You don't have to like every car, but you don't have to come on here and start slamming people because you don't like the decal on the back of their car. Calling him a "dumbass" and asking if anyone has seen this loser around town. I'm not sure if he's on this forum or not, but if he is, how do you think he would feel reading your post? Probably not very good, especially since for the majority of the people on this site, their car is their pride and joy - WHETHER IT BE a civic, integra, evo, STi, or NA-T supra. What you drive doesn't define you as a person.

My point of that story is: You never know when you're going to need help. Maybe next time your turbo blows and you find yourself on the side of the road, a black G35 will stop and say "Oh, you're that dick that doesn't like my badge". See what I'm trying to say?

I'm not christian by far, but I do believe that you should treat others how you wish to be treated. It's just a general good rule of thumb.

Another one is to not come on Import Atlanta and make fun of people's rides just because you don't like what they're able to afford. You're going the right way for a swift banning if you clown on the wrong person here.

Like I said before, you were cool the couple of times that I met you. I still have that opinion, but I'd hate for it to change because of internet drama.

Probably not very good, especially since for the majority of the people on this site, their car is their pride and joy - WHETHER IT BE a civic, integra, evo, STi, or NA-T supra. What you drive doesn't define you as a person.

My point of that story is: You never know when you're going to need help. Maybe next time your turbo blows and you find yourself on the side of the road, a black G35 will stop and say "Oh, you're that dick that doesn't like my badge". See what I'm trying to say?

I'm not christian by far, but I do believe that you should treat others how you wish to be treated. It's just a general good rule of thumb.

Another one is to not come on Import Atlanta and make fun of people's rides just because you don't like what they're able to afford. You're going the right way for a swift banning if you clown on the wrong person here.

And the 2007 release of Skylines(Nissan "G35's") in US is approaching... the skyline will go from one of our most wanted cars to something you see daily. I dont think I'll ever look at a skyline in the same way again after theyre released in US.

He finally took off the skyline badges and jus has the infin badge, but as far as modds, hes got basics (no turbo, yet?) injen cold air...stillen exhaust..hell i cant remember haha, come to the picnic may 15th!
