so we are all hanging out at the local gwinnett hang out (yes.. we are ricers) anywho. a friend is about to go run a WRX in his altima (Nism0sleeper).. and some bitch in the passenger seat of the black stalion car looks over at us and says something to the effect of "are those hondas?".. we were like "wtf" EL OH EL t("t).. anywho.. GGPIS3 gets into his car.. and chases the Ferrari down..

he tries to gun it, and GGPIS is on his ass.. looked like a dog greeting another. pulls to the side and lets off.. ferrari owner.. ridiculed.. bows down.. and doesnt wanna go again. LOL..

Why do you think it was a GTO? The newest GTO, from 1984-85 or so 288 GTO, is rediculously rare and worth $300-400K, depending on condition. And then the 60's GTO's are worth in the millions. Do we really expect one of those was out streeracing "hondas?"
BTW, the 288 GTO is ironically my favorite ferrari of ever.

I'm 100% sure it was not the 250GTO because it would be parked in my garage by now :D , 288GTO by the looks of it, who knows it could be a kit car and what not since you would think real 288 owners and their wives would have more class than those two

A 288 isnt all the slow, esp for mid 1980's. I remember seeing one of the magazines' car ran 113 mph in the 1/4. Its not setup to be a drag car, though, and I bet it would be strong from a roll. Look at the specs 2.3 posted.. But, the US versions had 400 HP as far as I can remember, not 450, and the US car is still under 3000 pounds probably. And they are easy to modify (i.e. turn up the boost,) not that most owners would. Its one of the most beautiful cars I have ever seen, and definately near the top of my list of favorite cars of ever. It basically evolved into the F40 soon after...same engine (less boost and power though,) and it could be considered the first of the "F" cars...f40, f50, enzo...
I still cant believe someone was out streetracing one ;)
