Yessur.

I was at GPH (Gwinnett Place Honda) this morning, buming a free car wash when I happened to roll by a car trailer, offloading some wierd looking Honda's. This it struck me... hold up. These are JDM!!! Well originally at least.

Thats right, We now have the Honda FIT added to the American market. Today is the first day its going on sale on our shores. I think the sales me said from 12k to 14k fully loaded. I'm pretty happy that Honda is bringing a larger line up to the states. This is a ploy, I believe, to capture the under 15k market segment.

For those that dont know of the FIT its about a cross between a Civic and... hmmm a Toyota Matrix? Dont worry it LOOKS like a honda, its just very small JDMish. Ok ok... it looks like Honda's version of the Chevy Aveo.

Good car with an excellent record. Been around for almost 2 decades. Lets just see how it fares in America.

Dont be too concerned with HP numbers. Thats typical western mentality. Engineers in europe asia know that its not always about the numbers. Of course HP helps but there's so much more to a good performing car rather than having high numbers of output.

yeah 125hp and probably weighs 2000lbs flat. Like my man said, probably quick and nimble on a track.

There will never be a replacement for good HPandTQ but thats not what its all about.

uhm.... dont gimme that western mentality crap, he was refering to the fact that its the SPOON car with only 125hp. not that the car doesnt have power, but that its a spoon car with 125hp

oh and by the way, 2,471 dry weight, only like 150 less than the civic sedan.

that being said.. i'm waiting on Mugen to release stuff for it... the Spec-D Fit looks pimp, i think it has a K20A fitted with a JRSC, that should fit us westerners enough.

Mugen Fit with a k20A swap

I like it. It's a neat little car. I'm surprised Thailand has Boosted B-Serie Fits.
