i ave a pit a little over 2 years old... he is super loving and crazy and hyper and well basically he goes thru phases. good then bad then good then ok still al little aggressive then good. me and my mom have trained him on and off but we feel he is getting worse and worse.
he's generally good with just me and my mom. h eis super loving i.e... he loves to lick you and be all over you and lean on you and stuff. a little intimdating for some cause he is such a fat pit but otherwise sweet...
so yeah my question is... how hard was or is it to train your pitbull and to stay that way?? his temperament is the main thing id like to work on. any good training places here in atlanta that WILL take in pitbulls? id like to bring him here to atlanta.

i dont think training is hard for any dog ..
a few treats to nibble on and he/she will be good when told to ..
post a pic of your dog ..

You cant really train a dog to have a different temperment. one of the best that i know of is http://www.atlantamansbf.com/

it is easy you just have to dicipline them, and reward them when they do what you want them to, i have five pitbulls and all of them are well trained

my boss has 2 pitbulls and they are the nicest dogs i know
she was hard on them at first (you know to stay and obey what you say) but she spoils them rotten now. i would let a 2 year old around them they are the nicest dogs i have ever encountered

I have a pit and you just have to get it to understand the tones in your voice and make she you dont play with it and use the same tones as you do when its in trouble..If you do your going to confuse it and make sure you set some words you want it to understand and dont stray from to set commands..It just takes time but still with that and you will be ok.

yeah
mine is still 3 months, already sits, lays, stays, shakes, and rolls over...basically i spend a lot of time with her...and i completely agree with ^^^ about the tone of your voice...granted when she was starting out, i was tough...had to smack her around a bit for chewing up my leather drivers seat in my supra, and my nike jordan rookies (i wanted to kill her)...but now she knows better...for the most part...besides chewing a hole through our wooden gate door on our deck...and like half the house outside...but no one is home when she's outside to discipline her for it, so i can't really get mad at her after the fact cuz she'd be like w-t-f mate lol
but yeah...awesome dogs, and she's soooo loyal...she's only 3 months old and i'm obsessed with her...i'm dreading the day she passes with a passion :(
