cormudgen

I believe its the border kit.

TrizzyDizzy
04-20-2006, 12:20 PM
i was thinkin the same, but the rear doesnt look right for some reason. oh well, list that in you mods. real border kit =

real border kit =

if its real.... too many fakes out there

looks good though, i like how the exhaust exits near the center, 12.5 seems a bit steep though, its not that heavily modded.
and what turbo you running? cause if youre on stock IC and dp i dont see how 15psi would net you 286wtq, even the 230whp seems a bit high honestly

mishkautkin
04-20-2006, 12:49 PM
i have the dyno chart for the horse power, the kit is original urathane forber, it looks weird cause i made a housing for the exhaust. i'm open to price offers.

that doesnt look slammed at all. the suspension looks stock....free bump anyway... :)

ECMgarrett
04-20-2006, 12:58 PM
so about the power mods, just intake exhaust and boost controller?

mishkautkin
04-20-2006, 12:59 PM
exhaust, EBC, Intake, Tranny, Clutch, presure plate, also it has the N/a mr2 cams in it so it produces more low end toque and quicker spool.

"i didn't put the drop so i don't scratch the paint job. the car looks slammed and gets a bunch of complements."
please don't flood the thread with discussion :-)

mishkautkin
04-20-2006, 07:21 PM
i will take some pix tommorow morning, it is too dark outside... inside i got the fiberglassed dash, leather seats, base link (sub) behind the passanger and a JVC head unit, oh also i have the windshiel mount antenna.

what the hell does..."30 pound j-spec 16" rims" mean? cuz that sucks

mishkautkin
04-23-2006, 03:04 PM
that means that rim + tire weighs 30 pounds... that is a very light rim with regular tire... fronts are 16x8, rear are 16x9

mishkautkin

correct the radiator was the photo shopped in the pic you are talking about, you can see in the pictures with the rx7 that the front bumper has mesh and intercooler and intake vents on the sides have black mesh... all looks reallly clean, there are a few chipps on the paint, but the body shop is fixing it within a week

ownd. lol good luck with the sale, im dying for an MR2 turbo

hey here is one for sale!

but im still skeptical on the power, just seems like way more power than it should make, way more, you shouldnt be close to that

mishkautkin
04-24-2006, 10:39 AM
it has been dyno'ed at mainstream performance and put down 320 torwq and 220hp and then it has been dyno'ed at z1motorsports and put down 280trq and 235hp. this is not a dicussion about the power, i'm trying to sell the car... thanks though...

ECMgarrett

20psi on stock ct26? and on stock IC? yea, that didnt happen

mishkautkin
04-24-2006, 11:08 AM
ok. i'm here not to argue... all i got to say, there is internet information and real number, mr2 boards have the same people doing same things... how about stepping outside of the box and trying something crazy... well i did, by leaving IC stock and putting NA mr2 cams, Turbo Dave did it on one of his mr2's and his mid-range numbers spiked. he recomended it to me so i did it... there ya go the results. if you would like to put a 3" downpipe and an intercooler, i'm convinced that it will result the minimization in boost drops that any mr2 owner expirienced... try it, don't read it up online, just experement.

thank you, yes, i have a 93turbo 2 and ive done my homework, never seen numbers like that, youre full of shit, get over it.
actually, you might not be lying, it may have made those numbers, but the dyno was WAY off

mishkautkin
04-24-2006, 11:17 AM
Have you seen the NA Cams done on any other mr2-t? do your homework on that one and then call me out.

ok dude u may be right but chill lol. like you said it might have been the dyno, no need to insult him its still a nice car. he did after all post a dyno. i just dont see those as actual WHP #'s. what kinda dyno were those taken on? is the graph SAE corrected?

mishkautkin
04-24-2006, 11:46 AM

04-24-2006, 12:48 PM
look i know the guy and hes not lying about the cars numbers, i saw the car dynoed at z1 motorsports along with the guy in the rx7. if you dont want to buy the car then dont say anything. just because you cant get your car to have that much hp doesnt mean that he cant. good luck with selling the car.

TIGERJC
04-24-2006, 08:29 PM
you wouldnt make any additional hp by pushing 20psi through the ct26. The turbo stops making hp at 15 psi and just starts blowing hot air after that.

exactly

im not doubting that he made the numbers, im doubting how valid the dyno is

No slap in the face intended. Just making sure that the buyers are aware, that is all. Don't want anyone getting something they did not expect.

I'll vouch for Rich and the overheating car as well. Steam was pouring out of the car while he was parked. He didn't even bother to pop the hood to help it cool off.

Sport1.3
04-25-2006, 10:44 AM
maybe he has a nice size coolant leak that drips on the mani (had one on my car and made a nice smoke show) it was also very easily fixed and the car was in no way overheating...did you actually open his hood an inspect it? stop bashing the guy and let him sell his car. if the person interested test drives it, they will see that leak/smoke very fast, and if they arent completely retarted and the car is actually overheating the dummy gauge will let them know. also you have no clue if he was planning on fixing this b4 he actually let the car go.......give him a break

I'm sorry, but if it were me, and I had a "nice size coolant leak" on a turbo car (or any car for that matter), I wouldn't have been driving it around and thrashing it in Atlanta heat. That's just me though, perhaps other people think differently about that.

mishkautkin
04-25-2006, 12:21 PM
the leak has been fixed, i just busted a hose on the way to the drift fury, thanks for pointing out every little thing though... it is a 15 year old car and rubber gets worn... i maintain it and take care of the car.

if you are not intending to buy the car... don't talk shit.
i'm not here to screw anybody over and when there is a serious buyer i make them aware of anything thats wrong with the car.
