ren inspired me by her poll about a car, for those with a job, when did you enter the workforce. also, what did you do, and now, what do you do? list your jobs in order from first to most recent.

i think i was 17 when i got my first job...or late 16...dont remember. I worked in retail....then had to quit cause i was moving for school. Got a "sorta" job at a audio/body shop for a couple months and then quit that. I havent had a "real" job since november i think. Just been doing side jobs and whatnot since then.

15 - Got first job as bagger at Kroger because dad said if I wanted to go to Hawai'i with the band, I had to pay for 1/3 of the trip, and make my own spending money. Quit job a week before I left, because they were trying to schedule me when they couldn't (overnight, out after midnight, etc) (Jan 2000 - July 2000)

16 - Worked at Arby's for almost a year. Good times, great HS job.. those guys rocked. (March 2001)

17 - quit Arby's because senior year of HS was too hectic, and I was working like 4 hours a week. Wasn't really worth it. (Jan 2002)

17 - Got job at Red Lobster as hostess after graduation. (May 2002)

18 - Quit Red Lobster because for one, they said they would make me a server/to go person when I turned 18, and they didn't, and for two, I sold one of my cars, so I had about $4k laying around. (Nov 2002)

18 - Ran out of cash, had new car and car payment, my friend Gavin got me a job at Ruby Tuesday (April 2003)

19 - Quit RT after a fun year, but the drive (30 miles one way) was killing me.. Started working at Olive Garden in Athens (April 2004)

20 - Got tired of Olive Garden bullshit, took "Leave of Absence" to work at Georgia FFA/FCCLA Summer Camp (May 2005)

20 - Best summer of my LIFE at the camp! Never went back to Olive Garden (Sept 2005)

21 - Worked at a local bar for a few weeks bartending, fired for forgetting to check an ID on a busy Friday night (assholes) (Nov 2005)

21 - Chillaxed for a while, livin' off funds from parting out Acura Integra, doing oddjobs, makin it work.. good times... (Nov 2005 - Feb 2006)

21 - Got current job at FedEx/Kinko's... it rocks my face off. (Feb 2006)

And that brings us up to date! :)

Well, i lied about my age and started working at 13.. Worked full time and went to school. The only time i had just a part time job was when i was 17 , but i was attending school type classes at Gwinnet Tech ( Gettin GED early ) , But still helped friend with his personal company on the side. I have had many years where i have worked 2 to 3 jobs at once.. so im not even gonna try to list them all. LOl , I left 2 jobs to work where im at now.. With the hours i work now ( oN call ) its near impossible to have a second job, but at same token- pay isnt realy bad enough to have to get one :D
