I sent out my State Tax return yesterday. And UPS mails it back to my house instead of the fucken IRS!! Now what the fuck do I do?

Any suggestions.

I was going to resend it in a larger envelope still sealed so when the IRS opens it they could see that the original one was sent before the due date and also include a reason why...

anyways, DO NOT MAIL THE ORIGINAL PACKAGE INTO ANOTHER PACKAGE
just re mail it out.

case is, if you mail it out, the person who recieves the package will most likely disregard the post marked date on the package and end up throwing it away with the trash. so you won't have grounds to prove that you indeed had it mailed off in time

so if they do penalize/call you, you will not have the original documentation.

I say, make a copy of the package, don't know how you'd do that and keep it for your records and mail the orig envelope in another envelope just in case
