Not the most important category in my book. Both are slow stock. I bet they would be a close race bone stock on the street. boost controller and exhaust on the wrx and it takes the cake.

Agreed- the new Eclipse is not particularly impressive. Sure, it has that huge torquey V6, but it has way too much torque steer to combat while doing any kind of spirited driving. The look has deteriorated so much from that of the 2nd or 3rd gen Eclipse. I would be interested to know how many units are moving every year. I see more Bentley Gt Coupes than new Eclipses. The numbers have to be quite saddening; probably worse than the new Galant numbers.
