Just route dryer hose to the air filter. Or remove the little plastic plate behind the headlights, and make a little custom heatshield from steel (homedepot has big sheets for like $10).

call us at Autofab... we will get the good one designed for the e30...
not dryer duct routing like the one pictured above and reccommended...
we have one in our E30 racecar ;)
and can easily get our hands on another!!!

dryer hose... haha

IM sure u could fab up everything, just finding the intake "cone" (if u will) could be tricky. I would call autofab, im sure the setup on thier e30 racecar is tried and true. Normally u dont want that kinda stuff to fall apart, so call autofab and if its a decent price, buy it! if not, copy it :D lol

Autofab is suposed to be a great place, been trying to get up there and peek around for a couple months now :(
