So from the sofware upgrade i gained 4hp and 35tq. I was expecting more gain then that, thx to paulin :jerkit: :2up: But b/c the dudes at AAP were impressed w/the #'s and and one of the dudes said my car runs alot smoother then all the other vdubs that were in da house, Im happy :goodjob: :D :jerkit:

your hp are a little lower than what i made w/ the same mods, but the torque is on par... you can't complain w/ the upgrade if you made 35lbs of torque... thats hella torque :goodjob:... your not going to get that amount of torque from any other mods ;)

i dyno'd my car as well today. i made 215whp/263lbs on my 50lb 19"s ;)

35lbs is just fucking sick, most need NOS, turbo, sc, etc.. to gain those numbers ;)

i'm still find it crazy that my 19's rob my car of approx 20lbs  dayum i need lighter wheels :D Chuck i don't know the weight of your wheels but you may want to do the same a the next dyno, pull out a lightweight 15" and run it, see the difference.

WHOA! wait a minute! I just found my last dyno sheet from BTLGRD and i thought i made 189hp and 210lbs tq. I was wrong, i made 198hp and 215tq . So i did not gain any horsepower and gained 30lbs tq.

hmmm?

you have to use the same dyno if you want to find out real numbers... all dynos are diff

Yup and it also depends on the temperature. If you get one done when its nice and cool outside you may get higher numbers but if you do it where its hot, like yesterday, then you may see a slight decrease in numbers.

What software did you use each time?

i have giac version 14 now. I talk to Bryan today and he did say those numbers seemed kinda low. But it was 90 degrees outside

temp only can hurt the pwr so much, something is not right. The numbers arent "bad", they just arent up to par. This is a 93 oct prog correct?! The first dyno/software was a few HP above normal, and tq was a lil low. (From what I have seen and exp'd) Screen name "Trey" had a 337 that on 93 and no other real big mods (no CB, DP, etc etc) did 192 whp, 242 wtq if memory serves me right.

w/ giac ver14, intake, dp, exhaust, you should be in the 200whp/250lbs area now give or take 5-10... it all goes on your car and how it reacts to mods... plus it goes on the shape of the motor, the mods put on the car, size of wheels :goodjob:

my 19" rob my car of tons of lbs ;)

oh oh and also the dude that was doing the dyno said it will get up to 20lbs. At around 55k rpm's it will drop to about 15lbs. Build up alittle bit then drop to 10lbs. I forgot he had said that. My car hasnt done that till then, since the new software. But it use to do it all the fucking time.

ya mine would spike at 21 drop to 18 down to 12 back up again... you should notice a little dip around 4k rpm :goodjob:
