mercury Capri

Hey has anyone ever heard of anyone making a Mercury Capri a decently fast car. My mom has had one for a while and is just going to junk it cause it is getting in the way of the other vehicles. Its the package that came with the 1.6 dohc turbo motor, and i didnt know if this had any possibilities of being a sleeper.

umm... dunno bout the 1.6 turbo model... but a capri is the same thing as the fox body platform and many of them actually came with the 5.0 v8 motor in them... so yes, they can be made fast... same as any 5.0 mustang, doesn't take much.

u can do the normal intake exhaust
or upgrade the turbo if its turbo
i have a 323 and im lookin into a b6t swap

i actually had a NA capri, slow as shit but the most reliable thing EVER
as far as making them fast - dont count on it. they just arent that great, SCC had a gtx project a while back, look to it for motor work
