about a year ago we started going to this mc donalds down the street from our house... we always go and get 2 chocolate dipped cones, man they are so good :D well we started noticing the night crew drive thru has these two guys Saeed/Mike who always give the funniest comments on the drive thru...

"welcome to the greatest mc donalds on earth..."

"welcome to your favorite mc donalds..."

i asked for a diet coke "what color straw do you want..."

they are just really funny and have way too much fun on the drive thru, seriously most people laugh about people who work for fast food places, but these guys are super cool and have fun even though it may not be the most glamerous job. we took them both a 20$ gift card to best buy b/c they are so entertaining and really do make the experience of going there fun.

i just thought i would share, maybe everyone will think twice next time, give a smile to a stranger, a joke, whaterever... small things really brighten up peoples lives. :goodjob:

The only way to get by in working in retail is to have a good time. I try to be nice to every customer I get but some customers are just assholes!!
Although I have noticed when you are nice to certain customers they are nice back. I just don't understand why people are assholes when they are trying to get something accomplished. Especially when they are trying to find something and being rude to me then I won't even bother trying to help them find it and just say "we don't have it anymore"

Well i used to the one of the Managers at CompUSA quite a few years ago, and retail sucks b/c you can never get good employees to stay very long, they always move on to better higher $$ jobs, that or alot of times they become over shadowed by their managers an they never get the respect/recognition they should b/c of toolbag managers taking the credit... so just like tipping a good waiter/waitress; fill out your comment cards, drop and email/phone call, etc... it goes a long way :goodjob:
