so my buddy wants to buy one of the "spoon" chips off of ebay for his p13 in his cb7 accord, which supposedly eliminates the speed limiter and lowers vtec and all that jazz. i told him that it sounds like bad news (maybe would run way too rich), but wanted to see what ya'll thought. he already had i/h/e. i told him to go cams and valvetrain and then hondata to do it right

p28 and crome or uberdata tuning will help.

mystery chips are just that...

cams, etc will help in gains too.

that's the problem...you can't tell. a lot of time they just have advanced timing and it's not tuned to your car, setup, etc.

tell him to just get a hondata s300, get it tuned and call it a day.

spend now, save later!
