IA Camping trip?

Who's down for some fire, alchohol, & food? Sorry girls, no power outlets, :tongue: just running water somewhere up in the mountains...a couple waterfalls and a whole lot of woods. Hamburgers, hotdogs, and s'mores then pancakes, eggs, toast, etc. for breakfast :D

I got a spot that stock cars can make it back but would rather meet up with people then take in trucks or SUV's... it's a well maintained gravel & dirt road but i'd still advise against any modified cars :2cents:

OK, May 27th is the date rain or shine, i'll make a new thread this weekend with all the details. Let me know, who has a vehicle and what gear you have: tent(s), cooler(s), chairs, etc...

Working on alternate parking so we can all climb in the trucks and go, there is one gravel lot near but i'd rather not leave the cars there...shouldn't be a problem but never know.

If it was cooler I would probably go. I'd rather not camp in the woods when its warm. That means there will be spiders, bugs, rodents, snakes, etc. I am terrified of spiders. Just thinking about them now gives me the chills.

screw driving to your campsite.... let's hit up Raven's Cliffs and hike it in.Thinking about Dick's Creek/Water's Creek...its an easy spot with no walking and all the gear right there but I'd love to hike in at the Cliff though :)

ok ok, sorry for the delay...i've been trying to work out going down to Miami and the Keys but with a girl on maturnity leave for 6 weeks i'm having to do her work too and can't take a vacation, oh well.

Drift Atlanta is the 13th and definitely don't want to conflict with it or HIN and next weekend is too soon so I'm scheduling it for Saturday the 20th & 21st. The race team is talking about flying me down to south florida for a weekend so maybe it won't be that one.
