leisa, its supposed the buddy list is supposed to automatically refresh itself..

when ppl log on/off it refreshes itself....

yeah.. when i was using mine, it refreshed in REAL TIME.. I'd have my computer logged on and everything and I would hear when someone would log on/off.... both would go off around 2 sec. apart from each other..

in addition, it should tell you how long someone has been idle and all that good stuff..

===== but I just remembered, if you did a hard reset, you probably DELETED all the over the air updates I had for the sidekick.. shit, I just thought about that.. and that could be the reason for why the sidekick AOL portion is FUXORED.. b/c the new update allowed you to have BUDDY ICONS and see how long someones been online and some other features I can't remember..

I could be wrong?

btw brett.. check howardforums.com and look under the tmobile discussion..

theres a lot of neg. replies about the MDA.. and all the CLITCHES it has... and someone on the board told me that the SDA has the highest rating of all TMO phones

Yeah T-Mobile sent a update to my phone for the AOL issue I was having, I think it fixed it, But I will wait a few more days and see if it stays fixed...LOL
