I was at my usually Wednesday service yesterday and a guy went up to speak and what he said covicted me to my very core. He told us that we needed to be water walkers for Christ. We need to step out in faith and do what God tells us to do and if you dont think he speaks come to my church expierance some things i have. We need to claim whats already ours what we have the right to being God's children. Read up on John G Lake he was a true water walker for Christ you will then know what i mean

The "moral" of the story of Peter walking on water with Christ is quite simple really. With Christ all things are possible...even the impossible of walking on water. Outside of Christ, as soon as you take your eyes off Him or step outside His Word, you sink. Doing the impossible only exists WITH Christ, not apart from Him.
This same principle is exercised and has been excercised by various businessmen in history who "stepped out" following the Biblical principle of tithing and offerings, giving away the money their business' made and the result was exactly what the Word said it would be, they ended up with more then they could give away.
To an MBA this makes NO sense. Within the confines of human logic it doesnt wash. But within God's supernatural realm, when one follows Gods Word implicitly it works. I have seen this one first hand. ;)

Hey man all i was stating is revilation unto trust God and he will prvide he is not going to tell you to go into the desert and not provide water and manna. All i was saying is that a guy was just stating that as a metaphorical term relating to in the gospels about water walking

He didn't start it, he's reusing it. As metal said, that's the moral of the story, which most people get when they hear it. I'm glad you were moved by it though. Run with it, it works. I guess I'm a "water walker" since I'm trusting Him on everything.
