I have been to Sprayglo and Yellow River Collision. The estimate was about 3.5 times more than at Sprayglo. Is there even that great of a difference?
Tell me what you guys think and if you recomend any other places for a stock, good quality paint job that will last.
Thanks,

I still don't see why is it $4,100 more...although they do offer a lifetime warranty.

F that crap. Macco! Shoot Ive seen two cars come out great with their low level job. Its all prep work. My buddies 69 GTO looks incredible he paid like 640 out the door. With special paint and a little bit more body work they had to do.

dont go to maaco, they dont prep their cars worth shit...it will come off in a year or so...
Places charge more because they put more time and effort into it. They wont cut corners and will make sure the job is top notch. You really get what you pay for in paint.

I don't know about the other shops, but my car was painted at the Sprayglo in Atlanta and they really hooked me up. The car looks great and they're even going to get rid of a lil overspray from a previous paint job for free.
I'd give them about a 9 out of 10, because it was close to 100%, but not perfect. The color looks awesome... It's Porsche Arctic Silver. Shiny as hell and very deep. The only problem is something (looks like a hair or a small leaf stem) blew into the paint in one area. Also, If you look closely at the rear corner of the car (which they repaired) the lines of the trunk/taillight area are off ever so slightly, but I'm a little anal when it comes to details on the car. I dunno if it's show quality, but still damn good considering I paid less than half of what every other shop was quoting me.
I'm going to post pics once I can get ahold of a camera.

Whats the turn around time over at Sprayglo? Seems like they are popular as hell.. I'd imagine it'd take forever.. I got some work that needs doin' to both the Mustang and the Blazer... Just not sure where I'm gonna take it yet.

I was thinking about doing prep work and asked Yellor River and just removing all the moldings and shit, takes about $500 off the whole thing. I don't know how much prepping would save me. The problem is that it has a little rust and they need to weld a plate which i cannot repair. If I do prep work first and then sae up for the rest, the car will be primered and not in a driveable condition.
